Una vez estalló una fiera batalla entre los Devas y los Dānavas. Mas, por la fuerza avasalladora de Mahāmāyā, la victoria recayó en los inmortales, los Devas.

It highlights that outcomes—even in cosmic conflicts—are governed by Mahāmāyā (divine power), implying that liberation and true victory arise by aligning with Pati (the Lord) rather than relying solely on personal strength.
Mahāmāyā functions under the Lord’s sovereignty; worship of Saguna Shiva as Linga-centred devotion steadies the mind, purifies intention, and helps the devotee see beyond shifting appearances produced by Māyā.
A practical takeaway is steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") with devotion, as a means to gain clarity and overcome Māyā’s deluding influence.
