FAQs

The Shiva Purana repeatedly links outer correctness (yathāvidhi) with inner bhakti; honoring the speaker of Shiva’s lore supports Saguna worship practices and prepares the mind for deeper realization of Shiva as Pati.

Practice yathāvidhi upacāra—respectful bowing, offering cloth and suitable gifts—together with a calm, sattvic attitude; it aligns devotional conduct with mantra and worship disciplines.
