दृढेषुः खंडको दर्शः कुहुर्बाहुर्मनोः स्मृताः । सावर्णस्य तु पौत्रा वै तृतीयस्य नव स्मृताः

Transliteration

dṛḍheṣuḥ khaṃḍako darśaḥ kuhurbāhurmanoḥ smṛtāḥ | sāvarṇasya tu pautrā vai tṛtīyasya nava smṛtāḥ

Translation

Dṛḍheṣu, Khaṇḍaka, Darśa, Kuhur y Bāhu son recordados como descendientes en la estirpe de Manu. Y, en verdad, nueve son recordados como los nietos de Sāvarṇa, el tercero en esa línea.
