Cosmic Event: manvantara-chronology (Svārociṣa Manu lineage)
It emphasizes dharmic lineage and righteous governance: great-souled rulers are remembered because their valor is meant to uphold cosmic order, ultimately supporting devotion to Pati (Shiva) and the path to liberation.
Though genealogical in tone, it situates human history within Shiva’s cosmic order; in Shaiva understanding, ideal kingship and valor are offerings to Saguna Shiva, sustaining dharma that enables Linga-worship, vrata, and pilgrimage to flourish.
No specific ritual is prescribed in this line; the practical takeaway is smaraṇa (recollection) of dharmic exemplars alongside daily Shiva-upasana—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and maintaining sattvic conduct.
