Diti–Kaśyapa Narrative
धारयामास गर्भं तु शुचिस्सा वरवर्णिनी । ब्रह्मचर्य्यादिनियमं दितिर्दध्रे तथैव वै
dhārayāmāsa garbhaṃ tu śucissā varavarṇinī | brahmacaryyādiniyamaṃ ditirdadhre tathaiva vai
Aquella dama, pura y de fulgor radiante, concibió y llevó en su seno el embrión; y Diti, del mismo modo, asumió las disciplinas sagradas—comenzando por el brahmacarya (casta continencia)—conforme a la observancia ritual.
