प्राह भर्ता मदीयस्तु सांप्रतं न च दृश्यते । स ऋषिस्तामुवाचेदं ज्ञात्वा दिव्येन चक्षुषा
prāha bhartā madīyastu sāṃprataṃ na ca dṛśyate | sa ṛṣistāmuvācedaṃ jñātvā divyena cakṣuṣā

It highlights that ordinary perception can fail, while higher, grace-born knowledge (divya-dṛṣṭi) reveals reality—echoing the Shaiva Siddhanta idea that true understanding arises when obscurations (pāśa) are removed.
The sage’s divine sight points to Shiva as both hidden and knowable: Saguna Shiva is approached through devotion and worship, and through that devotion the devotee gains clarity to perceive Shiva’s presence even when He is not outwardly visible.
Cultivate inner “sight” through japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steady meditation on Shiva; such practice is traditionally supported by wearing rudraksha and applying tripuṇḍra as aids to focused remembrance.
