Vāyu-jaya (Prāṇa-vijaya) and Yogic Mastery over Time — वायुजय (प्राणविजय) तथा कालजय

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It highlights Shiva’s yogic state: abiding in inner stillness and solitude, His self-born tejas (divine consciousness-light) illuminates all realms—showing Pati as the source of illumination beyond worldly supports.
The Linga is worshipped as the visible sign of Shiva’s formless radiance; this verse points to that same light—Shiva’s tejas—shining independent of external luminaries, which devotees approach through Saguna worship leading to Nirguna realization.
Meditate in a quiet, secluded place, seated steadily in a comfortable posture; withdraw from distracting speech and contemplate Shiva’s inner light—supporting japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as the mind becomes silent.
