दुन्दुभिनिर्ह्रादनिर्णयः / Dundubhinirhrāda’s Stratagem: Targeting the Brāhmaṇas
यतः क्रतुभुजो देवाः क्रतवो वेदसंभवाः । ते वेदा ब्राह्मणाधारास्ततो देवबलं द्विजाः
yataḥ kratubhujo devāḥ kratavo vedasaṃbhavāḥ | te vedā brāhmaṇādhārāstato devabalaṃ dvijāḥ
Pues los dioses se sostienen con las ofrendas del sacrificio, y los sacrificios nacen de los Vedas. Los Vedas, a su vez, se apoyan en los Brāhmaṇas; por ello, oh nacidos dos veces, la fuerza misma de los dioses depende de los Brāhmaṇas.
