Devas Go to Vaikuṇṭha and Praise Viṣṇu’s Avatāras
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
It teaches that even the gods act within dharma and cosmic law: when a being is linked to Rudra’s power and protected by Brahmā’s word, the proper resolution must arise through Śiva’s own līlā and rightful means, not mere force.
By emphasizing Jalandhara’s Rudra-aṃśa origin, the verse points to Śiva as the supreme controller of manifestation (saguṇa governance). Devotees take refuge in Śiva—often through Liṅga worship—as the final arbiter who dissolves adharma in the correct time and manner.
Practice surrender to Pati (Śiva) through japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating restraint and trust in divine timing—especially suitable as a Mahāśivarātri vrata intention.
