कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
ऋषय ऊचुः । यस्मात्प्रमथसे तत्त्वं जातोस्माकं यथा विधेः । तस्मान्मन्मथनामा त्वं लोके ख्यातो भविष्यसि
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yasmātpramathase tattvaṃ jātosmākaṃ yathā vidheḥ | tasmānmanmathanāmā tvaṃ loke khyāto bhaviṣyasi
Los sabios dijeron: «Puesto que has surgido de nuestro batir, conforme al decreto de Brahmā, por ello serás célebre en el mundo con el nombre de Manmatha, el que agita la mente».
