नारद उवाच । त्वष्ट्रा कृतन्तद्विकृतं विचित्रं विमोहनं सर्वदिवौकसां हि । येनैव सर्वान्स विमोहितुं सुरान्समिच्छति प्रेमत एव युक्त्या
nārada uvāca | tvaṣṭrā kṛtantadvikṛtaṃ vicitraṃ vimohanaṃ sarvadivaukasāṃ hi | yenaiva sarvānsa vimohituṃ surānsamicchati premata eva yuktyā
Dijo Nārada: «En verdad, Tvaṣṭṛ ha forjado un encantamiento maravilloso y extraordinario, destinado a engañar a todos los moradores del cielo. Con ese mismo artificio desea confundir a todos los dioses, mediante una estrategia nacida del apego (premā).»
