Devas’ Hymn, Nandikeśvara’s Petition, and Śiva’s Rising from Samādhi
Tattva Level: pati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It highlights divine assurance: when devotees or the devas surrender their burden, the Divine (here, Pārvatī as Śakti) removes fear and takes responsibility for restoring dharma—an expression of grace central to Shaiva Siddhanta.
It supports Saguna worship by portraying the personal, responsive aspect of the Divine—Śiva-Śakti who hears, protects, and acts. Linga worship similarly trains the devotee to rely on the Lord’s protective presence rather than anxiety and over-deliberation.
A practical takeaway is śaraṇāgati (surrender) with japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to cultivate fearlessness; applying vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) and steady breath-awareness can reinforce the inner resolve to ‘leave the task to the Lord.’
