kalyāṇakarttā kalikalmaṣaghnaḥ kuberabandhuḥ karuṇārdracittaḥ | triṣaṭkanetro rasavaktraśobhī yajñaṃ prapūrṇaṃ kuru me guha tvam

Offering: naivedya
It portrays Kumāra (Guha) as a compassionate divine helper who removes Kali-age defilements and ensures spiritual works (like yajña) reach fruition—teaching that grace and purity are essential for successful sādhanā.
As a foremost attendant of Shiva’s divine order, Guha is invoked to protect and complete Shaiva rites; such completion supports Saguna worship where ritual, devotion, and divine assistance culminate in Shiva’s favor.
A practical takeaway is to begin and conclude yajña/pujā with devotional invocations and purity disciplines (mantra-japa, especially Shaiva mantras, and maintaining ritual cleanliness) seeking divine completion of the rite.
