Entonces Gaṇeśa —océano de discernimiento— juntó las palmas con reverencia y habló. Tras alabar a sus padres una y otra vez, de muchas maneras, quedó sobrecogido por el amor hacia ellos.
Gaṇeśa
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
Offering: pushpa
It highlights bhakti expressed through humility (baddhāñjali) and heartfelt praise, showing that loving reverence toward Śiva and Pārvatī purifies the mind and aligns the devotee with Pati (the Lord) in Shaiva understanding.
Gaṇeśa’s direct praise of his divine parents reflects Saguna-upāsanā—devotion to Śiva as personally present and gracious—supporting the Purāṇic emphasis that loving praise and surrender are valid approaches alongside Liṅga worship.
The verse suggests añjali-mudrā with stuti (hymnic praise); a practical takeaway is daily Śiva-stotra recitation with inner devotion, optionally preceded by applying tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and mentally repeating the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
