FAQs

The verse teaches that Shiva, as Pati (the Lord) and inner ruler, is the ultimate refuge: when His grace is obtained, harmony arises both inwardly and outwardly, and hostile forces lose their power.

It supports Saguna worship: by pleasing Shiva through Linga-pūjā, mantra, and devotion, the devotee aligns with Shiva’s benevolent will, and worldly conflicts and impediments are pacified.

A practical takeaway is steady bhakti with Panchākṣarī japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Linga worship (water/bilva offerings), seeking Shiva’s satisfaction rather than mere worldly gain.
