तमु ष्टवाम य इमा जजान विश्वा जातान्यवराण्यस्मात् । इन्द्रेण मित्रं दिधिषेम गीर्भिरुपो नमोभिर्वृषभं विशेम ॥
Transliteration
tám u stavāma yá imā́ jajā́na víśvā jātā́ny ávarāṇy asmā́t | índreṇa mitráṃ didhiṣema gī́rbhir úpo námo-bhir vṛ́ṣabhaṃ víśema ||
Translation
A él lo afirmamos con alabanza: al que engendró estos mundos y todo lo nacido aquí abajo. Con Indra establezcamos amistad mediante nuestros cantos inspirados; con reverencias y actos de homenaje entremos en la Fuerza‑Toro y permanezcamos en ella.
