Sukta 8.40
अभ्यर्च नभाकवदिन्द्राग्नी यजसा गिरा । ययोर्विश्वमिदं जगदियं द्यौः पृथिवी मह्युपस्थे बिभृतो वसु नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
abhyàrcha nabhā́kavad indrā́gnī yájasā girā́ | yáyor víśvam idáṃ jágad iyáṃ dyáuḥ pṛthivī́ mahy ùpásthe bibhṛtó vásu nábhantām anyaké samé ||
Canta hacia Indra y Agni, al modo de Nabhāka, con la palabra del sacrificio, con el himno. Pues en esos dos se sostiene todo este mundo en movimiento —este cielo y esta vasta tierra— en cuyo regazo llevan el tesoro del ser; que los otros sean dispersados en el mismo campo.
