Mitra–Aryaman–Varuṇa (Ādityas; guardians of ṛta)

Este breve himno de tres versos invoca a los «Tres» Ādityas — Mitra, Aryaman y Varuṇa — como vastos sustentos del ṛta (orden cósmico) y como protectores de la vida humana. Pide su fuerza resplandeciente y una tutela inexpugnable, para que las fuerzas hostiles y la palabra maligna no puedan cobrar poder en el camino de uno. El himno culmina con la promesa de que los hijos de Aditi conceden luz continua y vitalidad al mortal a quien favorecen.
