Viṣṇu, Tvaṣṭṛ, Prajāpati, Dhātṛ (collective generative powers)
RV 10.184 es un himno breve pero poderoso de generación, que invoca a varios artífices divinos de la creación para establecer y proteger un embarazo. Pide a Viṣṇu que «prepare el vientre», a Tvaṣṭṛ que modele la forma, a Prajāpati y a Dhātṛ que infundan y coloquen el embrión; y luego llama a Sinīvālī, Sarasvatī y a los Aśvins para asegurar la concepción y llevar al niño hasta el parto a término en el décimo mes.

विष्णुर्योनिं कल्पयतु त्वष्टा रूपाणि पिंशतु । आ सिञ्चतु प्रजापतिर्धाता गर्भं दधातु ते ॥
Que Viṣṇu disponga el seno de la amplitud; que Tvaṣṭṛ modele las formas. Que Prajāpati vierta la fuerza vital; que Dhātṛ deposite para ti el embrión.

गर्भं धेहि सिनीवालि गर्भं धेहि सरस्वति । गर्भं ते अश्विनौ देवावा धत्तां पुष्करस्रजा ॥
Implanta el germen, oh Sinīvālī; implanta el germen, oh Sarasvatī. Que los dos Aśvins, los dioses, pongan en ti ese germen — coronado con guirnalda de loto— para que el nacimiento interior quede asegurado.

हिरण्ययी अरणी यं निर्मन्थतो अश्विना । तं ते गर्भं हवामहे दशमे मासि सूतवे ॥
La Araṇī de oro, que los Aśvins hacen brotar por fricción: a ese mismo germen invocamos, para que nazca en el décimo mes.
