उप व एषे नमसा जिगीषोषासानक्ता सुदुघेव धेनुः । समाने अहन्विमिमानो अर्कं विषुरूपे पयसि सस्मिन्नूधन् ॥

úpa va eṣe námasā jigīṣóṣāsānáktā sudúgheva dhénuḥ | samāné áhan vimímāno arkáṃ víṣu-rūpe páyasi sásminn ū́dhan ||

A vosotros me acerco con reverencia, buscando la victoria: a la Aurora y a la Noche, como a una vaca de abundante ordeño. En el día común miden el himno de la luz; en sus corrientes de leche de formas diversas, en esa misma ubre.
