Transliteration

īḷé dyā́vāpṛthivī pū́rva-cittaye ’gníṃ gharmáṃ su-rúcaṃ yā́mann iṣṭáye | yā́bhir bháre kārám aṃśā́ya jínvathas tā́bhir ū́ ṣú ūtíbhir aśvínā ā́ gatam ||

Translation

Alabo a Cielo-y-Tierra para el despertar de la conciencia antigua; alabo a Agni, el ardor (gharma), el de hermosa luz, en el camino hacia el cumplimiento deseado. Con las ayudas con que alentáis la obra del cantor para su parte de deleite, con esos auxilios veloces, oh Aśvins, venid aquí.
