महोदरवधः
The Slaying of Mahodara
ततोजग्राहतेजस्वीसुग्रीवोवसुधातलात् ।आयसंमुसलंघोरंसर्वतोहेमभूषितम् ।।6.98.23।।
tato jagrāha tejasvī sugrīvo vasudhā-talāt |
āyasaṁ musalaṁ ghoraṁ sarvato hema-bhūṣitam ||6.98.23||
Entonces el radiante Sugrīva tomó del suelo una terrible maza de hierro, adornada de oro por todas partes.
In that terrible conflict, seeing the mace broken and falling, mighty Sugriva, whose eyes turned red in anger, lifted up his iron bar, struck at the mace of the Rakshasa. The mace fell on the ground and broke into pieces.
