Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
वार्यमाणःसुसङ्क्रुद्धःसुहृद्भिर्हितबुद्धिभिः ।।।।अभ्यधावतसङ्क्रुद्धःखेग्रहोरोहिणीमिव ।

Aunque era contenido por amigos bienintencionados y de juicio recto, Rāvaṇa, ardiendo de furia, se lanzó hacia delante, como Marte en el cielo arremetiendo contra Rohiṇī.
While irreproachable Mythili was being guarded by rakshasi women, she saw him bearing an excellent sword and crossing. When he was repeatedly stopped by friends and obstructed, he was not receding and reaching Janaka's daughter.
Good counsel must be heeded; rejecting wise restraint under passion is a hallmark of adharma.
Rāvaṇa’s allies attempt to stop him, but he surges ahead in rage, ignoring their counsel.
The virtue is “listening to well-wishers” (hita-vākya-grahaṇa); the verse depicts its failure in Rāvaṇa.
