Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
त्तदातिप्रसन्नेनसशरंकार्मुकंमहत् ।।6.93.32।।देवासुरविमर्धेषुममदत्तंस्वयम्भुवा ।अद्यतूर्यशतैर्भीमंधनुरुत्थाप्यतांमम ।।6.93.33।।रामलक्ष्मणयोरेववधायपरमाहवे ।
śūraṁ śūreṇa saṅgamya saṁyugeṣv aparājitaḥ |
lakṣmaṇena hataḥ śūraḥ putras te mahendrajit |
gataḥ sa paramāṁl lokān śaraiḥ santāpya lakṣmaṇam ||
Al encontrarse héroe con héroe en la batalla, tu hijo valiente—Mahendrajit, jamás vencido en la guerra—fue abatido por Lakṣmaṇa. Tras herir gravemente a Lakṣmaṇa con sus flechas, ha partido a los mundos más altos.
