Una y otra vez, Indrajit y Lakṣmaṇa—cada uno anhelando la caída del otro—provocaron un choque tumultuoso y terrible en la batalla.
Indrajith and Lakshmana again and again carried out tumultuous and dreadful struggle.
The verse highlights the gravity of lethal intent: dharma requires that such intent be bound to a righteous cause and governed by the warrior’s code, not personal cruelty.
The duel escalates into repeated close engagements, with both combatants pressing for a decisive end.
Utsāha (martial drive) coupled with determination—sustained offensive spirit without hesitation.
