युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः
Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva
अङ्गदंव्यथितंदृष्टवासीदन्तमिवसागरम् ।।।।दुरासदंहरिश्रेष्ठंरामायन्येन्यवेदयन् ।
aṅgadaṃ vyathitaṃ dṛṣṭvā sīdantam iva sāgaram |
durāsadaṃ hariśreṣṭhaṃ rāmāya nyavēdayan ||
Al ver a Angada —atormentado, el más destacado de los vanaras, difícil de asaltar— hundiéndose como en un océano, los principales vanaras informaron del asunto a Rāma.
Seeing the foremost Vanara, Angada who was difficult to encounter fell and like sinking into the ocean of despondency, the foremost Vanaras submitted to Rama.
