सरमायाḥ सीतासान्त्वनम् तथा रावणनिश्चयश्रवणम्
Saarana Consoles Sita and Reports Ravana’s Resolve
अथतांजातन्तापांतेनवाक्येनमोहिताम् ।सरमाह्लादयामासमहींघौरीमिवाम्भसा ।।।।
atha tāṃ jātasantāpāṃ tena vākyena mohitām | saramā āhlādayām āsa mahīṃ ghaurīm ivāmbhasā ||
Entonces Saramā alegró a Sītā—cuyo dolor había nacido y cuya mente había sido turbada por aquellas palabras—como el agua de lluvia reanima la tierra reseca.
