Este es su hermano, llamado Lakṣmaṇa, amado por él como la vida misma; diestro en el gobierno y en la guerra, el mejor entre todos los portadores de armas.
"He is one who does not forgive (Rama's enemies), difficult to win, indomitable, victorious, strong and wise one. He is the right hand of Rama and external breath of his life."
Dharma includes responsible competence: loyalty must be paired with skill in governance (naya) and righteous warfare, serving the common good.
Angada formally identifies Lakṣmaṇa and highlights his dual excellence—ethical statecraft and battlefield mastery.
Sevā-bhāva (devoted service) joined to excellence (kuśalatā): Lakṣmaṇa’s devotion is effective, not merely emotional.
