विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
अशङ्कितमतिस्स्वस्थोनशठःपरिसर्पति ।नचास्यदुष्टावाक्चापितस्मान्नास्तीहसंशयः ।।6.17.63।।
aśaṅkita-matiḥ svastho na śaṭhaḥ parisarpati | na cāsya duṣṭā vāk cāpi tasmān nāstīha saṃśayaḥ || 6.17.63 ||
El hombre engañoso no anda a gusto, con la mente serena y sin temor; y también su palabra se mancha. Puesto que nada de eso se ve en él, aquí no hay duda.
"One who is with deceitful feeling will not come without an expression of suspicion. He has come on his own and even his talk and looks are not suspicious to me."
Dharma advises judging by consistent indicators: deceit typically manifests as fear, restlessness, and distorted speech; absence of these supports trust.
