Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
धिगस्तुहृदयंयस्याममेदं न सहस्रधा ।।।।त्वयिपञ्चत्वमापन्नेफलतेशोकपीडितम् ।
dhig astu hṛdayaṁ yasyā mamedaṁ na sahasradhā |
tvayi pañcatvam āpanne phalate śokapīḍitam ||
¡Vergüenza para este corazón mío, oprimido por el dolor, que no se parte en mil pedazos aun cuando tú has llegado al estado de los cinco elementos!
