Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain

Aun cuando tu amado hermano Vibhīṣaṇa te habló con palabras para tu bien, tú—cegado por el engaño y ansioso de tu propia destrucción—le respondiste con aspereza y desprecio.
"Even though good advice was given by your dear brother Vibheeshana, in your delusion evidently you sought your own destruction."
Dharma requires honoring truthful counsel, especially from well-wishers; rejecting satya out of ego and delusion becomes a path to self-ruin.
The mourners recall how Rāvaṇa rejected Vibhīṣaṇa’s beneficial advice, a key turning point preceding Laṅkā’s destruction.
Vibhīṣaṇa’s integrity and courage in speaking what is right (satya-hita), even when unwelcome.
