रामरावणयोर्युद्धवैषम्यं तथा रावणशिरश्छेदनम्
Rama–Ravana Duel Intensifies; Ravana’s Heads Severed and Reappear
न चैवरावणस्यान्तोदृश्यतेजीवितक्षये ।ततस्सर्वास्त्रविद्वीरःकौसल्यानन्दवर्धनः ।।।।मार्गणैर्बहुभिर्युक्तश्चिन्तयामासराघवः ।
na caiva rāvaṇasyānto dṛśyate jīvitakṣaye |
tataḥ sarvāstravid vīraḥ kausalyānandavardhanaḥ |
mārgaṇair bahubhir yuktaś cintayāmāsa rāghavaḥ ||
Sin embargo, Rāghava no veía acercarse el fin de la vida de Rāvaṇa. Entonces aquel héroe, conocedor de todas las armas, que acrecentaba siempre el gozo de Kausalyā, aunque provisto de muchos proyectiles, se puso a reflexionar.
Rama, knower of all shastras, valiant, enhancer of Kausalya's joy, well versed in the use of weapons, was not able to see the end of Ravana's life. He started thinking.
