Rama–Ravana Duel Intensifies; Ravana’s Heads Severed and Reappear
तदप्यशनिसङ्काशैश्छिन्नंरामस्यसायकैः ।एवमेवशतंछिन्नंशिरसांतुल्यवर्चसाम् ।।।।
tad apy aśani-saṅkāśaiś chinnaṃ rāmasya sāyakaiḥ | evam eva śataṃ chinnaṃ śirasāṃ tulya-varcasām ||
También aquella cabeza fue cercenada por las flechas de Rāma, fulgurantes como el rayo de Indra; y de ese mismo modo fueron cortadas cien cabezas, iguales en esplendor.
Rama cut off the afore said head with Indra's thunderbolt like arrows. In that way equally charming a hundred heads were struck off.
Dharma’s defense can demand sustained effort against persistent adharma; righteousness is not merely intention but continued, disciplined action until harm is truly ended.
Rāma repeatedly severs the reappearing heads of Rāvaṇa, reaching a count of a hundred cut off in the same manner.
