इमं दृष्ट्वा मणिश्रेष्ठं यथा तातस्य दर्शनम्।अद्यास्म्यवगतस्सौम्य वैदेहस्य तथा विभोः।।।।

Transliteration

imaṃ dṛṣṭvā maṇiśreṣṭhaṃ yathā tātasya darśanam |

adyāsmy avagataḥ saumya vaidehasya tathā vibhoḥ ||

Translation

Oh noble amigo, al ver esta joya excelsa es como si contemplara a mi padre, y asimismo al poderoso rey de Videha; tan vívidamente este signo los trae a mi memoria.
