प्रत्यागमनम् — Angada’s Return and the Confirmation of Sītā’s Discovery
यद्यप्यकृतकृत्यानामीदृश स्स्यादुपक्रमः।भवेत्स दीनवदनो भ्रान्तविप्लुतमानसः।।।।
yady apy akṛtakṛtyānām īdṛśaḥ syād upakramaḥ |
bhavet sa dīna-vadano bhrānta-vipluta-mānasaḥ ||
Aun si quienes no hubieran cumplido su tarea regresaran de este modo, él se mostraría abatido: el rostro decaído, la mente confusa y turbada.
"In case the vanaras have returned without accomplishing the task, Angada would have assumed a pathetic face, perplexed and unsteady in mind.
Dharma connects inner state to duty: failure in a righteous mission naturally burdens the mind; success brings steadiness and openness.
Dadhimukha describes how Aṅgada would look if the mission had failed, reinforcing that their current demeanor signals success.
Emotional honesty—true leaders cannot easily mask the moral weight of failure in a sacred duty.
