Tārā’s Lament over Vāli
अभिवादयमानं त्वामङ्गदं त्वं यथा पुरा।दीर्घायुर्भव पुत्रेति किमर्थं नाभिभाषसे।।
abhivādayamānaṃ tvām aṅgadaṃ tvaṃ yathā purā | dīrghāyur bhava putreti kimarthaṃ nābhibhāṣase ||
Cuando tu hijo Aṅgada te saluda con reverencia, ¿por qué no le hablas como antes, diciendo: “Vive muchos años, hijo mío” ?
'Why do you not, with the words 'May you live long'', bless, as before, your son Angada who is greeting you? (said Tara).
