Trishanku’s Bodily Ascent and the New Constellations

«Oh bienaventurado, este rey—herido por la maldición de su gurú—no es en absoluto digno de ascender al cielo con su propio cuerpo, oh tesoro de austeridad.»
"O Glorious maharshi, this king cursed by his spiritual preceptor is not worthy of going to heaven with his physical body".
Dharma includes recognition of moral eligibility (adhikāra): a guru’s curse signifies a breach that must be addressed; rewards like bodily ascent to heaven are not granted without fitness.
The petitioners argue against Viśvāmitra’s plan by citing Triśaṅku’s disqualification due to his preceptor’s curse.
Respect for spiritual authority and moral law is emphasized by the speakers.
