Bestowal of Divine Astras to Rama
अशनी द्वे प्रयच्छामि शुष्कार्द्रे रघुनन्दन।।।।ददामि चास्त्रं पैनाकमस्त्रं नारायणं तथा।
aśanī dve prayacchāmi śuṣkārdrē raghunandana |
dadāmi cāstraṃ painākam astraṃ nārāyaṇaṃ tathā ||
Oh deleite de la estirpe de Raghu, te otorgo dos rayos: Śuṣka y Ārdra, el ‘seco’ y el ‘húmedo’. Te concedo también el arma Paināka y el arma Nārāyaṇa.
O descendant of Raghu! I shall grant you two thunderbolts named shuska and ardra (dry and wet), painaka astra and narayanaastra.
