Directions from Bharadvaja’s Hermitage to Chitrakuta
दक्षिणेनैव मार्गेण सव्यदक्षिणमेव वा। गजवाजिरथाकीर्णां वाहिनीं वाहिनीपते।।2.92.13।। वाहयस्व महाभाग ततो द्रक्ष्यसि राघवम्।
dakṣiṇenaiva mārgeṇa savya-dakṣiṇam eva vā |
gaja-vāji-rathākīrṇāṃ vāhinīṃ vāhinī-pate ||
vāhayasva mahā-bhāga tato drakṣyasi rāghavam |
Oh señor de las huestes, ilustre: conduce tu ejército, colmado de elefantes, caballos y carros, por el camino del sur o aun hacia el suroeste; entonces verás a Rāghava (Rāma).
O distinguished lord of the army, if you lead your army full of elephants, horses and chariots through the southern path or towards the south-west, you will come across Rama there.
