स्वमग्निं चैव हस्तेन स्पृशेन्नाप्सुचिरं वसेत् । न पक्षकेणोपधमेन्न शूर्पेण च पाणिना

svamagniṃ caiva hastena spṛśennāpsuciraṃ vaset | na pakṣakeṇopadhamenna śūrpeṇa ca pāṇinā

No debe tocarse con la mano el propio fuego, ni permanecer largo tiempo en el agua. No debe avivarse el fuego con un ala, ni con un cedazo, ni con la mano.
