Sukalā’s Account: Ikṣvāku and Sudevā; the Boar’s Resolve and the Dharma of Battle

सत्कारो युद्धरूपेण कर्तव्यश्च मया शुभे । शूकर्युवाच । यदा युद्धं त्वया देयं राज्ञे चैव महात्मने

satkāro yuddharūpeṇa kartavyaśca mayā śubhe | śūkaryuvāca | yadā yuddhaṃ tvayā deyaṃ rājñe caiva mahātmane

«Oh, auspiciosa, debo rendir el debido honor en la forma de la batalla». Dijo Śūkarī: «Cuando hayas de conceder combate al rey, a ese magnánimo también…».
