प्रसंगाद्दर्शनात्स्पर्शान्नात्र कार्या विचारणा । अत्रार्थे श्रूयते विप्रा इतिहासोऽघनाशनः

prasaṃgāddarśanātsparśānnātra kāryā vicāraṇā | atrārthe śrūyate viprā itihāso'ghanāśanaḥ

Por la sola compañía, por la visión y por el contacto—no hace falta aquí más reflexión. Sobre esto mismo, oh brāhmaṇas, se escucha un antiguo relato (itihāsa) que destruye el pecado.
