Śrī Kṛṣṇa (final assurance); prior half addresses Mahādeva (Śiva)

Concept: Divine assurance removes doubt; the Lord’s word (satya-vākya) guarantees the fruition of the devotee’s highest purpose.

Application: When undertaking a vow or spiritual discipline, anchor the mind in śraddhā and avoid corrosive doubt; keep promises and speak truthfully as a reflection of divine satya.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"Śrī Kṛṣṇa stands calm and radiant, one hand lifted in a gesture of certainty, while Mahādeva faces him with composed reverence—two luminous presences meeting without rivalry. The air seems to still as the words ‘na saṁśayaḥ’ become visible like a subtle golden script in the space between them.","primary_figures":["Krishna","Mahadeva (Shiva)"],"setting":"A divine assembly space—either a forest clearing turned celestial or a luminous court with minimal iconographic cues to keep focus on the assurance.","lighting_mood":"divine radiance","color_palette":["deep indigo","ash white","rudraksha brown","molten gold","smoke gray"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Krishna and Shiva facing each other in dignified harmony, heavy gold leaf halos, Krishna’s peacock-feather crown and sapphire garments, Shiva with crescent moon and ash-toned body, ornate prabhāvalis, gold embossed Sanskrit-like motifs for ‘na saṁśayaḥ’, rich reds/greens in the frame, gem-studded ornaments.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: refined, serene meeting of Krishna and Shiva in a quiet grove, delicate brushwork, cool blues and soft grays, subtle river-mist background, minimal architecture, emphasis on gentle eye contact and calm gestures, lyrical naturalism.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: iconic frontal profiles with bold outlines, Krishna in green-blue tones and Shiva in pale ash tones, stylized halos, temple-wall composition with ornamental borders, strong narrative clarity and symmetrical balance.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central paired figures of Krishna and Shiva framed by lotus and floral borders, deep blue ground with gold highlights, peacocks and small lamps at the base, intricate textile-like patterning, devotional harmony theme."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"narrative","suggested_raga":"Durga","pace":"moderate-narrative","voice_tone":"authoritative","sound_elements":["conch shell (soft)","temple bells","tanpura drone","brief silence after 'na saṁśayaḥ'"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: आत्मनश्च = आत्मनः + च; मयासह = मया + सह; श्रीकृष्णः (IAST śrīkṛṣṇa) = श्री + कृष्ण (कर्मधारय).

FAQs

The verse contains a vocative address to Mahādeva, and then explicitly marks the next statement as spoken by Śrī Kṛṣṇa (“śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca”), who gives the concluding assurance.

It emphasizes certainty and divine assurance: Kṛṣṇa confirms that the highest intended purpose (paramaṃ kāryam) will be fulfilled, removing doubt.

By directly addressing Mahādeva with confidence and then having Kṛṣṇa affirm the outcome, the verse portrays cooperation and mutual affirmation rather than rivalry between the two deities.
