Prabhāsa-kṣetra: Circuit of Tīrthas and Shrines Leading to Bhukti and Mokṣa
Suta (narrating the Narada Purana discourse in the tirtha-mahatmya section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that properly performed worship at specific tirthas—Balabhadreśvara and Gaṅgā-Gaṇapati—can grant both bhukti (legitimate worldly well-being) and mukti (liberation), highlighting the puranic doctrine of tirtha-powered sadhana.
Bhakti is expressed here as reverential, rule-guided pūjā (samabhyarcya vidhānataḥ): devotion is not merely emotion but disciplined worship that aligns the devotee with the deity and the sanctity of the place.
The emphasis on vidhāna (injunction-based procedure) points to Kalpa/ritual praxis—knowing how to perform worship correctly (offerings, sequence, purity rules) so that the intended spiritual fruit is realized.
