FAQs

It frames the holy landscape as a sanctified realm marked by Vṛndāvana and pastoral devotees (gopas and gopīs), indicating that sacred geography itself supports remembrance and devotion.

By foregrounding cows, cowherds, and gopīs—the classic symbols of loving service and intimate devotion—it points to bhakti expressed through simple, heart-centered association with the Lord’s sacred abode.

Primarily it reflects Purāṇic tīrtha-topography rather than a specific Vedāṅga; practically, it supports pilgrimage mapping and ritual orientation (dik-nirdeśa—directional placement such as ‘to the east’), used when planning yātrā and tīrtha-darśana.
