Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
Narada
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti (devotion)","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta (wonder)","emotional_journey":"Wonder at the extraordinary efficacy of mere darśana culminating in promised attainments up to mokṣa."}
It presents Narasiṃha-darśana as a direct, grace-based means to attain both worldly prosperity (rājya) and the highest aim (mokṣa), framing the vision of the Lord as spiritually transformative.
By declaring that merely beholding Narasiṃha grants the wished-for fruit, the verse emphasizes bhakti’s core principle: the Lord’s compassionate response to devotional contact (darśana) over purely mechanical merit.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this śloka; it functions as a phala-śruti typical of Purāṇic ritual contexts, encouraging darśana/worship by stating the promised results.
