Kāṣṭhīla-Upākhyāna: Rākṣasī, Spear-Śakti, and Kāśī as Śakti-kṣetra

तत्तत्कर्मानुरूपत्वात्प्राधान्यस्त्रीनियोज्ययोः । क्वचिद्व्यत्ययदोषश्चेद्दैवमेवात्र कारणम् ॥ ६४ ॥

tattatkarmānurūpatvātprādhānyastrīniyojyayoḥ | kvacidvyatyayadoṣaśceddaivamevātra kāraṇam || 64 ||

Puesto que los frutos siguen la naturaleza de las acciones de cada cual, los factores determinantes principales son el esfuerzo y los medios empleados. Mas si en algún lugar se ve una inversión o anomalía, entonces sólo el destino (daiva) es allí la causa.
