The Account of Kāṣṭhīlā (Kāṣṭhīlā-ākhyāna) within the Mohinī Narrative
Narada (narrating to the Sanatkumara brothers in the Uttara-Bhaga tirtha context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse highlights tīrtha-darśana as a sacred encounter: reaching the Lord’s abode and beholding a luminous cave symbolizes approaching divine presence through pilgrimage and reverent vision.
Bhakti is shown as movement toward the Lord—seeking where He abides and receiving darśana. The “gold-like radiance” underscores the attractiveness (ākarṣaṇa) of the divine that draws the devotee onward.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught directly in this line; it functions primarily as a tīrtha-māhātmya description rather than a technical instruction in śikṣā, vyākaraṇa, or jyotiṣa.
