Determination of Tithi for Fasts, Parana, and Pitri Rites

तद्वाक्यं सूतपुत्रस्य श्रुत्वा द्विजवरोत्तमाः । माहात्म्यं चक्रिणश्चापि सर्वपापौघ शांतिदम् ॥ ३ ॥

tadvākyaṃ sūtaputrasya śrutvā dvijavarottamāḥ | māhātmyaṃ cakriṇaścāpi sarvapāpaugha śāṃtidam || 3 ||

Al oír las palabras del hijo de Sūta, los más excelsos entre los nacidos dos veces escucharon también la gloria del Portador del Disco (Viṣṇu), la que apacigua la inundación entera de los pecados.
