En la batalla terrible que duró un año, obligado por la palabra de su padre, obtuvo el cordón de la cintura, guardado junto a la amada del rey de los Daityas.
Narada (narrative voice within Uttara-Bhaga Mahatmya section; traditional dialogue frame with Sanatkumara lineage implied)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"vira","secondary_rasa":"bhayanaka","emotional_journey":"From the dread of a prolonged, terrible battle to the hard-won acquisition of a prized object under the pressure of filial obedience."}
It highlights steadfastness in duty: enduring a prolonged and frightening ordeal, the protagonist acts from obedience to a righteous instruction (the father’s word) and attains the intended result.
Indirectly, it models bhakti-like fidelity—single-pointed commitment to an आदेश (command) taken as sacred—showing that sincere adherence to a higher directive leads to attainment.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana or Jyotisha) is taught in this line; the practical takeaway is dharmic conduct—following legitimate instruction and persevering through hardship.
